Saltwater Tides 2.0

The Saltwater Tides app offers the same tide predictions available on its corresponding website, saltwatertides.com. The website has been a reliable source of tide forecasts for the US coastline since 2000, delivering millions of predictions annually.

With Version 2.0, users can benefit from enhanced usability features. The site selection and date selection menus and wheels have been refined for user convenience. Additionally, the tide prediction display has been optimized for improved readability, catering to both portrait and landscape modes.

The Saltwater Tides app acts as a comprehensive tool for accessing tide, moon, and sun predictions along the Gulf Coast, US East Coast, and US West Coast (Hawaii and Alaska are excluded). Users can access forecasts for over 2,500 locations featuring details such as tide heights and times, sunrise and sunset times, moonrise and moonset times, as well as the percentage of visible moon. Notably, the app is ad-supported to contribute towards covering update costs.

For ongoing support, Version 1.0 will continue to be maintained in the foreseeable future. It is worth mentioning that Version 1.0 faced intermittent outages between August and November 2016 due to challenges with the web host's system migration process.
